What is Talent Management?  We define it as a process for the identification, development, engagement, retention and deployment of “talent” within the organisation.  We work with our clients to audit the effectiveness of their talent management processes and to clarify existing or to develop new talent management strategies.

In addition we work with our clients to develop and implement performance management systems which are one of the key underpinning elements of any talent management process.  Working with the clients’ internal project teams we will design a performance management process which supports and reinforces the values, culture and management style of the organisation.  Essential to its success is that it is owned by line managers and embedded within the organisation.  We will also design any associated documentation to support the process, such as forms and guidance notes etc.

In terms of implementation we design and deliver skills training for appraisers in performance planning, giving feedback, coaching and performance review and for appraisees in self assessment and taking ownership for the process.
