Our Consultancy Services - Coaching for Personal Effectiveness

Knowledge and intellect were once ranked the most important attributes of leadership and management – but not anymore.  Now behavioural and emotional skills are recognised as key to personal effectiveness.

Many of us have experience of incredibly bright individuals whose effectiveness at work has been hampered by a lack of behavioural skills, and provision of individual coaching can be the most appropriate way to develop these skills in your organisation.

The focus of coaching can vary considerably with a wide variety of emphasis depending on role requirements, the concerns of the individual leader or manager and the particular skills of the coach.

Coaching may address acquisition of job-related knowledge and skills, take a wider perspective on an individual’s performance, or consider whole life issues.

It is generally assumed that coaching involves only two people – the coach and coachee – in face to face interaction but there is a growing trend towards group coaching linked for example to development centres, action learning sets, and in this format co-coaching can constitute part of an organisation development strategy.

Adoption of a coaching philosophy and culture has the potential to contribute to a high performance environment in which effective skills, knowledge and behaviours are readily transferred from all levels and in all directions in your organisation.

Our coaches have provided individual service to leaders and managers at many levels up to the most senior, providing an invaluable external perspective that might otherwise be unavailable to key decision makers.

Using psychological profiling tools, we can identify and train members of your own staff to provide an in-house coaching resource that is flexible and cost effective.

Our services include guidance for you on how to introduce an organisation wide mentoring programme, and the provision of training associated with its implementation.
